It’s a half day in the office

And I’m looking at this.

I may as well give up now.

I’ve been telling my boss that I need another editor to help out with the day-to-day demand so that I can put more thought and consideration into longer-term projects, pointing out how full my diary has been for the last 6 months or so, but he’s told me I need to document all the things that I can’t get done rather than the things I can.

I think I’ve found my documentation.

But it doesn’t matter now. It’s Christmas Party Time. The time of the year when it’s necessary and completely expected of you to get absolutely wasted with colleagues you don’t really like in order to build a tenuous, chummy bond that will only be shattered come February when they’ve inevitably done something that completely pisses you off.
